Oct 21 - The tech heavy Nasdaq fell 4.1 percent ahead of key results from Apple and Yahoo.The Dow dropped 231 points to 9,033. The S&P 500 lost 30 points to 955. The Nasdaq posted a 73 point decline to 1,696.Crude oil fell to $70.89 a barrel. Conway Gittens reports.

My thoughts are that the politically correct ruined companies who employed hardworking people with decent work ethics. Most good companies went downhill from there.

I worked contract to Ford back in 98. This is a 'decent' ethics company. Their Achilles Heel is thier blood family internal structure. I always thought that, because of this, they would always have many unbalance biases, unlike foriegn companies from the east. With family, often the rule is put up and shut up. This worked in the world prior to the 1960's. I am not so sure by the 1990's or particularly now. Your thoughts?

When the credit markets collapse, we will all be working slave labor on production lines, like China. This time though, the U.S will be making the "cheap products" for everyone else around the world!!!
